The Great Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal is a pilgrimage destination for Buddhists from all around the world. Photo taken by the author, December 2017.
My name is Aaron Basskin. I launched Kora in the Spring of 2017 while simultaneously pursuing my Masters in the Translation and Textual Interpretation of Buddhist Texts in Kathmandu, Nepal. I've made a nest in the Tibetan suburb of Boudhanath where I study Buddhist philosophy and language at the Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery.
Six years ago I discovered my passion for loose-leaf tea. Kora Tea and Crafts is the manifestation of my dream to share this passion with everyone from all over the world. It helps me fund my studies abroad, too! I hope you enjoy my humble site. Be sure to check out my blog located in the Writings tab in case you want to stay informed about my thoughts and travels!
