Each Chai Box contains seventy-five grams of Nepali grown loose-leaf black tea blended with masala spices, such as ginger, clove, cinnamon and cardamom.
Included is a hand-fashioned ceramic cup made in the highly historic and vibrant city-state known as Bhaktapur.
Both are packed inside a hand-made, fair trade mithila (mit-tee-la) style painted box from Janakpur village in the southern plains of Nepal.
A cotton muslin reusable tea bag is also provided.
To brew yourself a cup of Kora Chai Tea, just fill your reusable tea bag with a hefty tablespoon of tea leaf. Using boiling hot water, steep the bag in your new ceramic cup for 2-3 minutes. Add milk and sugar or honey if you prefer. Once finished, rinse out the tea bag and allow it to air dry.
Each Chai Box is unique with its own painted design and ceramic. Get yours today!
